French court slashes compote cartel fines

A French appellate court has reduced fines imposed by the country’s antitrust watchdog on a fruit compote cartel by roughly €26.6 million, finding the infringement ended sooner than the authority alleged and the penalties were disproportionate to the seriousness of the conduct.
